Welcome to Loving Tree Family Childcare!
At Loving Tree Child Care we offer toddlers and preschoolers an environment full of learning, laughter and lots of love that encourages each child’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development in a safe, nurturing, and fun atmosphere.
The first five years of a child’s life are so important for growth and learning. We believe that children flourish best when they have many different ways of learning that entail experimentation, creativity, exploration, discovery and fun hands-on activities. We encourage our students to develop a love for learning, discovery, and independent thinking while also providing activities that encourage sociability and presentation skills.
We are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and offer care Monday-Saturday. We provide a culturally diverse learning environment by offering programs in English and also cater to Spanish, Chinese and Greek. Availability is limited, so contact us today to learn more and schedule a tour!

Director
Wantzu Tsay Yuan, aka, Miss Helen, is the Director of Loving Tree Child Care and has over 22 years of experience in education and child care. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and has taught at the University of Miami: Bright Horizons Cantebury Preschool program (Miami, FL), as well as Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart (Miami, FL), and Harbor Child Care (Herricks, NY) in the past.
Miss Helen is a member of the Child Care Council of Nassau County, and is CPR, First Aid Certified.
Teacher’s Aides
Our Teacher’s Aides are professionally educated on an ongoing basis to meet and exceed the standards of the Child Care Council of Nassau County. Our staff are background checked, fingerprinted, and certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid to prioritize your child’s safety.

We believe education should be enjoyable, fulfilling, and inspire the imagination. Our professionally-planned preschool curriculum aims to teach playfully and creatively through group and individual activities.
During our daily Circle Time, we cover the calendar and days of the week, weather, nursery rhymes, geography, alphabet, numbers, patterns, Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish, Greek, American Sign Language (ASL), and read stories. Children discover a new theme every month, including social behavior, healthy eating, and fitness.
